Confirm Voter Registration status, Polling Site and see a sample Ballot!

To confirm your voter registration status: visit NYS Board of Elections or call: 866-VOTE-NYC, 866-868-3692, or TTY-212-487-5496.

Absentee Ballots and Additional Information

If you are temporarily or permanently unable to go to your poll site on Election Day, you may vote by absentee ballot. You can still use concern about exposure to Covid as a reason to request an absentee ballot. 

You need to complete an absentee ballot application and mail it to the Board of Elections (BOE) to obtain a ballot.

The Board of Elections website has lots of additional information, a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) and additional flyers, forms and signs for voters and candidates.

For those who do not have access to the internet, The Board of Elections operates an attended Phone Bank supporting up to 80 simultaneous users during office hours (Mon-Fri 9 am to 5 pm) with a multi-lingual staff of English, Spanish, Chinese Mandarin/Cantonese, Korean and Bengali speaking operators.

Primary Election 2026: Key Dates

Sat, June 13–Sun, June 21 | Early Voting in NYC

Mon, June 22 | Early Mail and Absentee Ballot Request Deadline (In-Person)

  • This is the last day to apply in person at the Board of Elections for an early mail or absentee ballot.

Tues, June 23 | Primary Election Day!

  • Polls are open 6 AM–9 PM. Find your poll site.
  • This is the last day to postmark your early mail ballot or absentee ballot, and the last day to deliver a ballot in person at the Board of Elections office or a poll site.

  • Vote411: allows you to type in your address to see the races on your ballot. Candidates’ positions can be compared side-by-side, and you may print out your preferences as a reminder and take it with you to the polls on Election Day. Brought to you by the League of Women Voters Education Fund.
  • Vote Smart: a free online tool provides factual, unbiased information on candidates and elected officials including how they’ve voted, which bills they’ve sponsored, statements they’ve released, and more.

  • Goddard Riverside and the Isaacs Center are members of the #JustPay Coalition, which is advocating for fair wages for nonprofit employees on city and state contracts.
  • Goddard Riverside is a proud member of the Right to Counsel NYC Coalition. We helped win the nation’s first law guaranteeing legal representation to low-income residents in Housing Court. We continue to work on a number of fronts to address the city’s housing crisis. 
  • We work on a variety of issues with our fellow settlement houses through United Neighborhood Houses.
  • We believe deeply that Black Lives Matter.
