Held in private homes and unique spaces throughout New York City to benefit Goddard Riverside

For more than three decades, Goddard Riverside’s Musical Evenings have featured outstanding performances by world-renowned virtuosos and talented young artists.
Musical Evenings highlight classical and modern chamber music. Each concert benefits Goddard Riverside’s programs and services supporting children, adults, and families living on the Upper West Side.
The Musical Evenings concert series is primarily held in private homes and occasionally held in public locations. Concerts held in private homes are invitation-only. Please contact us for more information.
Following each concert is a reception. All of the concerts begin at 8:00 PM and will require attendees to show proof of COVID vaccination.

May Musical Evening with Empire Wild
Empire Wild comes to us from the Concert Artists Guild. The artists are cellists Mitch Lyon and Ken Kubota, and pianist Brandon Ilaw. Here classical training and sensitivity meet music of every genre. It is a unique sound from a wonderfully engaging trio of young musicians. They are also, despite a full-to-the-brim performance schedule, dedicated to community outreach both here in the city and around the country.
