Enriching the Lives of Older Adults

Supporting older adults to experience an optimal quality of life.

Goddard Riverside’s programs for older adults help men and women age in their homes while staying active, social, and healthy.

The Meals on Wheels program at the Isaacs Center delivers seven meals a week to homebound seniors in direct collaboration with partner agencies.

The Older Adult Centers are vibrant communities offering social activities, exercise, outings, and nutritious reduced-price meals.

Our NORCs (Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities) encompass three neighboring affordable housing cooperatives on Columbus Avenue and several NYCHA buildings in Lincoln Square. They provide support to help older adults thrive at home, including case management, exercise, nutrition, nursing, educational workshops, classes, social activities, trips, and access to social workers.

Phelps House provides 167 units of affordable housing for older adults and people with mobility impairments. It also offers a range of supportive services for longtime tenants who have aged into their 70s, 80s, and 90s.
