Goddard Gold

This speaker series brings people together to support Goddard programs and services. These invitation-only cocktail receptions and discussions will take place at private clubs in Manhattan. Join leaders in the financial, real estate, and insurance sectors to meet and mingle, hear from innovative groundbreakers, and heighten your civic engagement. Please contact us for more information.

Goddard Bash

Our Annual Goddard Bash: Social Justice Never Sleeps (formally known as the Annual Gala) celebrates the work of Goddard Riverside and features the announcement of the winners of our annual social justice book prizes.

Every March, during Women’s History Month, Goddard Riverside’s Community Arts program hosts an exciting month-long arts festival celebrating female artists and perspectives.

Book Fair

Our Annual Book Fair takes place in November the weekend before Thanksgiving. It’s the product of a partnership more than three decades strong between Goddard Riverside and the book industry! Publishers donate brand-new books which we sell at half price to raise money for our programs.

Book Prize Chats

The Book Prize celebrates the power of the written word to create change in the name of justice for all people⁠—a value shared by Goddard Riverside and our longtime partners in the publishing community.

Holiday Meals

Every year on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, volunteers gather at 593 Columbus Avenue to cook and serve more than a thousand holiday meals.

Musical Evenings

The Musical Evenings concert series is held in private homes. Professional classical musicians perform live to support Goddard’s programs and services. Following the concert is a reception. These events are invitation-only. Please contact us for more information.
