Permanent Supportive Housing for Previously Homeless Mentally Ill Adults

Goddard Riverside’s five-story residence onWest 140th Street provides affordable, permanent supportive housing for 48 previously homeless mentally ill adults.

The building consists of fully furnished studio apartments, offices for the social service and building staff, and ample common space, including a dining room, kitchen, library and backyard. A lower level provides office space for our Resource Center and ACT Team programs, in addition to services for tenants and others from the community.

On-site services include:

  • medication monitoring
  • case management
  • money management
  • entitlement assistance
  • medical and psychiatric care
  • substance use counseling
  • work-readiness training
  • meals program
  • 24-hour/7-day front-desk security
  • group activities ranging from trips and movies to quilting and gardening
