The Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS) will be opening a new “Safe Haven” shelter in the Financial District. Goddard Riverside is set to be one of the many collaborators for this project tackling the housing crisis. The “Safe Haven” shelter differs from other forms of shelters by lowering the amount of residents, but putting more resources in providing long-term solutions.
