Goddard Riverside’s longest-running and most popular fundraiser, our annual Book Fair, will take place this year on November 23 and 24 at the Bernie Wohl Center.
The Book Fair is made possible by our longstanding partnership with the publishing industry, which generously donates brand-new bestsellers every year to be sold at half price. The proceeds fund our poverty-fighting programs for all ages. We are also blessed with a huge staff of volunteers that organize and run the annual Fair.
The Book Fair offers all kinds of reading, from contemporary fiction and classics to arts & crafts, sports, history and mysteries. The expert knitters and jewelry-makers at our senior centers will be on hand to sell their hand-crafted wares.
Things kick off Friday night with the Book Bash, where guests can sip cocktails and enjoy hors d’ouevres while browsing the aisles.
