[New York, NY – April 30, 2019] Goddard Riverside is pleased to announce it has received top rankings from three major fiscal watchdogs: the Better Business Bureau, Charity Navigator and GuideStar. Goddard is listed in today’s full-page ad in the print edition of the New York Daily News recognizing recipients of the Better Business Bureau Accredited Charity seal. The ad will also run in Time Out New York tomorrow.
“Goddard Riverside works hard investing in people and strengthening our community,” said Executive Director Roderick L. Jones. “We’re proud to be recognized for our fiscal responsibility by America’s most respected ratings organizations.”
In addition to the Accredited Charity Seal, Goddard Riverside has received Platinum status from GuideStar – the highest level of recognition offered. It carries a top four-star rating from Charity Navigator.
The ratings organizations examine factors such as how transparent nonprofits are about their finances and how much they spend on administration versus programs.
