These invitation-only cocktail receptions and discussions will take place at private clubs in Manhattan. Goddard Gold 2021

Our 2nd Annual Goddard Gold event took place on June 14, 2021 and featured Jonathan F.P. Rose, Founder & CEO of Jonathan Rose Companies and Kathryn Wylde, President & CEO of Partnership for New York City.

COVID-19 greatly impacted the city and laid bare numerous inequities. This virtual event featured a conversation and audience Q&A about what rebuilding will look like and how to ensure the recovery is equitable for all New Yorkers.

Speakers

Kathryn Wylde

Kathryn Wylde is President and CEO of the nonprofit Partnership for New York City whose members are the city’s global business leaders and major employers. In response to COVID-19, the Partnership has been a key liaison between the public and private sectors with respect to health and economic challenges. In 2020, the Partnership published the first comprehensive analysis of pandemic impact on the city. It has focused recovery efforts on support for small business and advocacy for policies that will restore jobs and retain talent in the city.

Prior to taking over as Partnership CEO in 2000, Wylde led the Partnership’s city-wide affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization and business investment programs. She is an urban policy expert and represents the business community on advisory panels dealing with infrastructure, the environment, tax, education, workforce development, human services, and land use/development issues. 

 Jonathan F.P. Rose 

Jonathan F.P. Rose’s business, public policy, teaching, research, writing and not-for-profit work focuses on creating more environmentally, socially and economically resilient cities. 

In 1989, Mr. Rose founded Jonathan Rose Companies LLC, a multi-disciplinary real estate development, planning, project management, and investment firm, to address the challenges of the poor distribution of opportunity through the development of affordable and mixed-income housing. Jonathan has led the firm’s vision, program and growth, developing award winning new projects, investment funds and city plans to model solutions integrating the issues of affordable housing, community development, culture and the environment. The firm is one of the largest acquirers of affordable and mixed income housing in the nation. 

The firm’s innovative work has won awards from a wide range of notable organizations including: the Urban Land Institute, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Natural Resources Defense Council, the American Planning Association and the American Institute of Architects. Mr. Rose also advises global cities on planning, affordable housing, environmental, and social issues.
