How can I donate stock to Goddard Riverside?
Donating stock is safe and easy. Using the donation form on this page, making a charitable gift of stock is a quick, five-step process:
- Select your stock ticker and confirm the company name in the donation form
- Enter your gift amount
- Type in your email and address info for the receipt
- Enter your brokerage account information
- Virtually sign & make your gift!
Upon making a donation, you will receive an email notification from The Giving Block that your gift is being processed. In some circumstances, you may need to take action with your broker. The email will have instructions on any next steps.
Charitable donations of stock are processed safely and typically within 6-8 business days with The Giving Block in partnership with Renaissance Charitable Foundation. Processing times can be longer during December or when dealing with restricted stock.
Is my data protected through The Giving Block donation form?
The Giving Block was built with a security first mindset and uses industry-proven measures to provide a safe and trusted way to make donations. The Giving Block uses a secure cloud architecture and multiple security measures to protect sensitive data.

Why do I have to give my brokerage info?
To make your stock donation, you only have to enter your donor info and brokerage account number. The Giving Block does not ask for your brokerage username or password, that is safe and secure with you. The Giving Block use AES 256-bit Encryption to keep donor information you do provide safe and secure.
If your broker is not yet listed as a supported broker, you can select “other” and enter your brokerage account number. You can enter an advisor contact if you have one. Having a direct contact can speed up the process.
The TGB Operations team will send the completed forms to the broker. No further action is needed from the donor.
