Dr. Mildred Borrás

www.saatchiart.com/Mildred23

Age 73. I am a self-taught artist born and raised in Puerto Rico but moved to NYC to continue graduate studies and decided to establish myself here, fascinated by the city and culture. My art is about exploring different subjects in the human condition; social, political…and sometimes just creating images. I started painting about 15 years ago, although I always wanted to do it. My career is as a therapist, but I find great pleasure in painting in my free time. I love art and spend a lot of my leisure time visiting museums and galleries in New York City where I live and any part of the world I visit.
