Classes & Workshops

Kensokukai Dojo Karate Classes for Youth & Adults

Build your mind-body connection while you learn the practical defense skills and philosophy of martial arts from professional Grandmaster and Black Belt, Mega Suzuki Martinez. Registration is open to students ages 8 and up.

Financial assistance is available to those in need by contacting the Community Arts Office at 212-799-9400 x 4405 or 4410.

Sing with the Young People’s Chorus of New York City at Goddard Riverside

Join the Young People’s Chorus of New York City.

Open auditions are available for young people entering grades 3 – 6. No prior training is required. Rehearsals begin in the fall.

Ballet & Dance Classes for Youth

Goddard Riverside’s Beacon and Community Arts programs are proud to partner with Ballet and Beyond NYC to offer FREE ballet and dance classes to youth during the school year (September to June).

Students can choose from the following classes: Basic Ballet, Intermediate Ballet, Basic Modern, Intermediate Modern, and Intermediate Hip Hop.

Your child must be in first grade or higher to join. This is a technique-driven program.

To register, please complete an online registration form and a DYCD form (download below). Both forms must be completed in order to register.
