On August 28th, 2013, Goddard Riverside’s Family Council takes part in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington – and we invite you to take a trip with us!
Join us on a bus trip to Washington, D.C. to celebrate and commemorate this historic event, where Dr. Martin Luther King gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech to more than 250,000 march participants on August 28th, 1963.
Details:
The Goddard Riverside Family Council bus leaves at 6:00am for Washington, D.C. The bus leaves Washington, D.C. at 5:30pm.
The bus trip costs $10, which includes transportation, water, and a special hat.
