Older Adults
Goddard Riverside’s programs for older adults offer a vital lifeline and a chance to have fun and be part of a caring family.
Older adults come daily to enjoy breakfast and lunch with friends, stay fit, learn new skills, and express their creativity. And when there is a crisis and they need special assistance, our elderly neighbors know they can call or come in for help. Help with questions relating to health care, housing, legal issues and money management – all the things they need to continue to live independently in the community for as long as possible – is available.
Every year over 3,000 older adults participate in our Senior Center and NORC (naturally occurring retirement community) programs, and our Phelps House residence offers a range of support and activities for 180 elderly tenants.
