Book Fair & Fall Gala

Save the dates for the 25th Annual Book Fair: November 19 and 20, 2011.

The New York Book Fair is our major fundraiser and a much-anticipated series of community events. Kicking off the Book Fair season, is the raucous Gala Dinner honoring a leading publisher. At the heart of the Fair is a sale featuring discounts of 50% or more on thousands of brand-new books, held every year the weekend before Thanksgiving. The opening night Book Bash, with its raffle and restaurant tasting, and the Meet-the-Author Dinners are truly festive and memorable evenings. Volunteers make it all happen, including hundreds of neighbors and friends as well as business leaders from publishing and other industries who serve on the Book Fair Committee. Since 1986, the New York Book Fair has raised more than $7 million, and 85 cents of every dollar raised goes directly into Goddard Riverside programs.
